It was about 1.30am here, and I was just hoping into bed. I was due to go into hospital the next day for the birth of my son, as he was a week overdue and I was being induced.
I will never forget that night. I had the TV on as I was hoping into bed when the newsflash came over saying what had happened, then i watched the live coverage until 5am, saw the second plane hit and i remember only too well the feeling of absolute horror and dread that came over me.
It is something that I will never forget as long as I live, nor the feelings and tears that went along with that night.
