Really hard to get the peel off once they're frozen...

It's never occurred to me that you CAN freeze bananas, don't they go black?
Only if you freeze them with the peel on (if I remember correctly). I freeze them all the time without the peel and stay the same color. Great for smoothies and banana bread.

When you freeze bananas with the peel on the peel turns black and the banana stays white. Haven't ever had trouble peeling them....wonder what the difference is???
