Thank you for that great story, I also went to Joann's today, I have asked for help for batting, as I have lots of quilts to make, and no money. I recived a $25.00 gift card to Joann's from a quilt fairy, I was able to get a pack of batting, and a seam ripper. I am still needing more batting, If any one can help me out. but they were all very friendly, and when I asked the price of a roll of batting, the lady went right away and got the priece for me. as for the seam ripper, I am working on a wedding throw, and I started quilting it, and I decided I did not like the quilting, so now I have to pull it all out. I have learned that I better not make to many mistakes, because I just don't have the patients to pull them all out, of course my pain was at an all time high, because I drove, and walk around the store today.
