That's what I'm doing...I'm using the pedal, and for now, guiding her hands with the fabric...once she gets a feel for it, I'll let her go without my hands, and eventually let her work the pedal. I really wish my machine had a speed setting on it, it would make it a lot easier to just leave her to it. There are quite a few squares (96), so she will have LOTS of time to work on it :D
