I also look the the manufactuer's name or ask if it isn't shown in the description. I only recall once that I was very unhappy. The fabric was cute and I really didn't care about the manufacturer in that instance. When I received the fabric it had a definite odor--like it had been dipped in scented Febrize or something. I really can't handle perfumes at all. Thought I could wash it out but couldn't. Ended up throwing it away. If it is an estate sale item ask about odors! Also, pay with PayPal. You will get your money back if the item doesn't arrive. Hope this helps!
