The distributor I referred to is a dealer who runs classes and has good follow up service, sorry for the confusion. I am only looking at purchasing from a dealer that offers unlimited classes and has quilting groups etc. In comparing the IDT to a walking foot, the Viking walking foot package includes two feet, one for straight sewing and one that does all the wide stitches. Which makes it even harder to decide between the two machines.
