By the time I'd heard about pet insurance, Jake was too old at age 8 for me to purchase it...but I'm looking to get coverage for Chip, Jake's son. I figure it would probably be worth it, considering that the vet I was taking Jake to, even tho they were incompetent fools, charged me over $1000.00 this past year...much more expensive than my own doctor (and they didn't even begin to touch on what was really wrong with him!)
Anyway...what company do you use, and has it been worth it?
My son and daughter in law have VPI pet insurance and they use theirs all the time for the annual check ups and any unexpected illnesses or injuries. I have it as well but haven't had to use it so far. They are really good about paying the claims too.
