Have you tried changing your needle. A dull needle makes a loud noise when you are sewing several layers.

I purchased this machine last week. Sorry if there is another thread on this ,couln't find it . has anyone else had a loud noise when you sew through 3 or more layer. Singer says to take it to dealer or send back to HSN. Please help.
