Another purple fan - my friends say I don't go past it ever on the shelves!
But, when I go to use purple, there is a very small supply in my vast stash - conclusion: all of the above comments and - limited availability and conspicuous color makes it seem as though I must have a lot.
When you see it and like it, buy it!
