Any fruit Cobbler

1 cup self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 stick butter
2 cups any fruit

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in 9 x 13 cake pan. Combine flour, sugar and milk. Mix well, try to get out all the lumps. Pour over butter.
Distribute fruit over batter. Do not stir! Sprinkle a little
sugar and cinnamon over the top if you like. Bake 1 hour.

Make your own self-rising flour. Mix together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1½ tsp baking powder and ½ tsp salt.
This is exactly how I make my cobbler. I also vary using different pie fillings, cherry, apple, etc. Sometime I put an egg in the batter along with some vanilla extract. The eggs seems to make the cobbler not quite so *heavy*.

So quick to make and soooo good!
