I am with you. I taught my kids that Christ was the heart of Christmas. They always learned to give and not worrry about receiving. They ae all grown now and I make most of their gifts. As far as gift gib=ving we all draw names and they set the price at $50. We exchange gifts having to buy for only one person. I then let them all give what they want to help with an orphanage. We put up the tree and light up my houses and ll enjoy a great gift and a good meal and lots of love.
