Why is it that you happily bounce down the basement steps to get something and when you get there you look like a dork because you can't remember why you are down there and what you were supposed to get or do or put away or whatever! I hate that when it happens - like all the time!!! If I have to go to another room upstairs it never happens, only when I go down the basement steps and end up having to come back up, retrace my steps and then remember. I usually have to chant what I forgot, like "Toilet paper, toilet paper, toilet paper" all the way down to the basement, get it and come back upstairs! Edie
PS - I don't worry about dementia or Alzheimer's because I know that this happens to other people all the time.
