Well, I am surprised, I've made, and sold, a kagillion table toppers and no one ever covers them. I have several, one in particular a gal did an amazing job on, and I put stuff on it all the time. Maybe she is from that group that advocated putting plastic on the furniture so it wouldn't get dirty??
