My DMIL came over unexpectedly one day last week and said, "I just have to ask, JoAnn, why do you have a sheet hanging on your hallway wall?" She was quite perplexed when I told her that I spray baste my quilt sandwiches on that wall. I love this method! The sheet protects the wall from overspray mishaps, saves my back and ensures that the layers will be perfectly smooth with very little effort in a very short amount of time. By the way, DH was the one who told me to do this so I have his full blessing :)
