Hey Roxa! Welcome from South Louisiana. Yes you will learn a lot from these great people. They've done excellent tutorials and can lead you to others online. But I suggest you get a good basic quilting book so that you can have it handy with good directions and pictures. I'm one that has to have a book or something to read and look at. One book that helped me (well, it's actually two books) a lot before I found this board is QUILTS, QUILTS, QUILTS! and QUILTS, QUILTS AND MORE QUILTS! by Diana McClun and Laura Nownes. The books are set up in lessons and go from the very simple to the more advanced. I'm not working for them or anything like that (wink) but of all the books I have they are the two books that I most refer to.

And know that you can get on here and ask anything you need to know. Someone will always have an answer or will help you find a solution.
Good luck. You've chosen a great hobby.
