Thank goodness it is not usually our custom to tip hairdressers here in New Zealand or in Australia. It was done in England though when I lived there, not sure if they still do it.
I cut my husbands hair, have done ever since we were married, I used to cut our little wire haired fox terrier's coat up until a year or so ago but my fingers get too sore now with arthritis, pity as the groomer charges $60 a pop now, more than I pay for myself!
