I used the rubbing alchol & paper towel carefully and it spread it to the back as I was blotting bit by bit...so I stopped. Now I have a stain twice as big as it was.
Actually this happens to me also....not to fret, just put a bunch of paper towels underneath the quilt and blot it. The ink does spread first and as you continue to blot is absorbed by the paper towels. Sometimes there is a ghost of the ink left, but then rub stain remover, like shout into it and wash and it should be all gone.
