I think I have ruined this quilt trying to get this INK OUT !!
I used the rubbing alchol & paper towel carefully and it spread it to the back as I was blotting bit by bit...so I stopped. Now I have a stain twice as big as it was.

Actually this happens to me also....not to fret, just put a bunch of paper towels underneath the quilt and blot it. The ink does spread first and as you continue to blot is absorbed by the paper towels. Sometimes there is a ghost of the ink left, but then rub stain remover, like shout into it and wash and it should be all gone.

Hancock's has a line of stain remover products and one of them says ink. Don't know if it would work on your ink but might.

The best product I've ever used is an aerosol called "Spot Shot" It stinks to high heaven but dissolves everything, even permanent marker.
I originally bought some at Cosco, but have seen it recently at RONA. (Similar to Home Depot, Lowes, etc.)

Girl, I use alcohol too and it works. Good idea to put paper towels under and keep it up. Takes a few steps. If you run cold water over it, the rinses the color out too. SOmetimes you need more liquid going thru it. DOn't fret. I will call you soon. HUGS
