I also have to sew on the kitchen table. My DH built me a sewing cabinet that is in the kitchen. Holds all my sewing supplies and WIP's All my fabric is in the attic - not hard to get to. DH is preparing to build me a sewing cabinet with mechanical lift. This will eliminate having to clear the table everyday. However, I deal with it. It could be worse. Some people have no home to sew in. We need to count our blessing.
