I knew you would get it!!! :) Yes, a rose with no stem, is like when a person has a disability, when wind comes, the rose bud would be blown all over the ground...without a stem, but, the leaves that surround a rose with no stem, protect it from the wind, so it is not blown about, the leaves are friends and family and caregivers and doctors and researchers :) :) :)
