I think a lot of this is alive in small towns, they haven't been totally ruined yet.
My Daughter knew that if there wasnt a Ma'am or Sir behind the yes or no fast enough then she was victim of the belt. She knew to bring her dates into the house to meet us before they went out. And if she was going to be late or go somewhere other than where she was originally, she would always call and let us know.
But the funniest thing about her is that she has had a really hard time grasping that she can call adults by their first name when she is at work. She told me that "its just not proper". :lol:
