In the video she says you can do any size quilt that way. You just have to find boards and a table long enough. I would put two tables together end to end for a really big quilt.
The reason I do big quilts on the floor is that I don't own a table or tables large enough for pinning. But, I do have some large, open floor space. But, I can try it for smaller ones.

That's the really nice part of this method, you don't have the whole quilt spread out when you're basting it. I have a regular 4 foot folding table that's narrower and it worked perfect. Even a dining room table would work for her method.
