I used this method to hand baste a king size quilt. My hubby got me two ten foot long boards to wrap the top and bottom on. I'm lucky enough to have a dining room table that was just a few inches short of the size I needed so it wasn't a problem. I love this method so much, I would never bast any other way. This is a winning technique.

have NEVER used anything other since watching it AND I don't get tension/nervous.
