Big in the literal sense? Insanely expensive? Very complicated? Or perhaps a combination of all three? Interpret the question however you like.
Creating an historically accurate quilt of the Gettysburg battlefield. Spent mucho hours researching 19th century maps and survey mapping. This year, I did digital add ons to the quilt, had the quilt reproduced as a tapestry cotton throw, and wrote a battle guide to accompany the throw. Here are images of the quilt and throw.
