First off, I have to thank katier825 for recommending Seawatch Fabrics to another member on the board on a thread about buying fabric online. Not only did I find a bunch of kimono/Japanese style prints I found this cool looking black crackle print. I thought about using it for the borders and sashing of the Slipknot quilt. So I made a rough layout on PhotoShop with the fabric and it actually doesn't look half bad. Like I said before I had thought about doing black borders to go with these black t-shirts (crazy, I know), but when I did this crackle fabric I thought the solid black would have been too boring.

Here's the image I came up with. Sorry for the lack of t-shirt images in the design. A search on Slipknot shirts on eBay with the "new" and "black (main color)" filters on yields over 450 results. With so many results even I'm not entirely sure how the quilt will look like. I think it will look even better once the t-shirt designs are put in.

The image had to be reduced due to board regulations so here's a link to the original image at full size (I think it looks better)

And here's the link to the border and sashing fabric
