Eh, not going to go with the stud idea. When I tried looking for iron on studs the largest I could find were 1/4". I'm estimating the t-shirt squares will be at least 12"-15" wide so to put 1/4" studs (spaced at 1/16" like they do with bracelets) on the sashing...can't imagine how many hundreds of iron on studs that would take. And there's no way on Earth I'm buying real studs (bigger ones) and putting them into the quilt. Last year for Halloween I went as the lead singer of my favorite band (see avatar) and took apart an old belt of mine to reconstruct them into a wider belt for the costume...ugh, that was a pain. And now that I have the crackle fabric I think it would look better without them anyways.
