When I was little after my dad died, I wanted a Midge doll to go with my Barbie. Mom said we were too broke---got myself one on ebay a few years ago.
But the gift I really wanted was to go see Elvis in concert. I asked every year for Christmas, my birthday, etc. but there was never enought money. When I got married and after a few years, my sweet husband said next time he came in town he would take me----needless to say, Elvis passed away before that ever happened.
