I have a lot also but since moving to this house I really don't have a place to display them. I make a small scene under the tree in my family room, using a theme. This year I put them on two wide ledges I have im my family room. I put lighted garland behind them and lined them up with small pieces in between. That way they at least out of the boxes. I have also made scenes on top of the entertainment center or on the shelves under my coffee server. No one else in my family has any interest in them so someday they will probably end up in the thrift stores.

Years ago my son built me a 2 layered platform that fit into the corner and my tree sat down into a hole that made it look like it was growing out of the ground and then I put the houses under there. Lots and lots of work. I used anything from stryofoam to dishes out of my cupboard to make hills and mountains etc. It was fun. Now it is just too much work and I can't crawl around on the floor like I used too.
