Oh yeah..also wanted to say that I am also on HBP meds..but I do use Aleve once in a while..I've had back surgery too, and sometimes that's all that helps short of narcotics..but I only use it for 24 hrs. The doc said its the prolonged use that boosts your BP. Everything is a tradeoff. Vioxx was my favorite..until they decided maybe they hadn't done enough research to know it could mess up your heart. (its in the same group with Celebrex, which can also screw up your stomach!!) I guess the cure is worse than the pain..as it seems to be with most meds! Keep experimenting..you'll find something that works for you :-)
