Press it with spray 'sizing' before you cut. Helps keep the raveling down to a manageable amount. Use more pins than you think you will need, then use some more! Remember, every stitch will leave a hole. Unseaming is going to show. Take your time. I made a fancy satin western shirt years ago for a 'Lone Ranger' Halloween costume. It is still the only thing I ever made out of satin. Draw your own conclusions. Some people sew with satin all the time. I am not one of them!
