I have a Black and Decker from Wal - Mart and it has been great. I bought it in the very early 90s and it is still going strong. It has both steam and spray and an automatic shut off after 10 minutes of sitting upright. It heats up quickly. I know I didn't pay over $30 for it. I had a more expensive iron from Sears before this one and after a few years it started giving me shocks every time I tried to use it. I always wondered about the Rowentas. I guess they are the same as anything else. Some work and last and others don't.
