I wondered about row 9 also, and noted that many of our rows were based on traditional blocks, i.e., Four Patch, Log Cabin, Stars, etc. How about another traditional block like Churn Dash or Friendship Star or Farmer's Daughter or Bow Tie or Snowball or Spool or - - you get the idea.
