The HandiQuilter2 worked fine but you are limited in the size of designs you can quilt because you use your own sewing machine. I bought a stitch speed controller and handles to go with mine, I don't know if anyone is selling these now. All in all it is a good frame for home quilting, at least for a start. I'm saving mine for my DGD.
I bought a Tin Lizzie 18 second hand to get more throat space and am happy with it.
