Sounds like it's also time to limit water intake in the evening and see if that works. We put in doggie doors so they can let themselves out. It has disadvantages and advantages tho.
We are very careful to limit his water intake, nothing at all after 6pm...and even then he gets 3 cups of water to his 2 cups of food. He's let out 3 times between 6pm and the time we go to bed, so he has ample opportunities to get it out of his system.
