I am part of a group that meets monthly-we all met at our LQS. We meet at my home since there is ample room for 7 ladies, and their machines, cutting boards, etc. Last year we swapped batik squares monthly, and used a common pattern. It will be fun to see how different the finished projects will be. Oh, and dessert is always provided by one of our members-nothing like a little sugar to keep the creative juices flowing!

I also started a quilt group at our local library, where I volunteer. We loosely refer to it as a "quilt" group, but you're likely to see any kind of handcrafts being done. No machines are used here, since the facility is very small-only 2 rooms. Everyone enjoys it so much, that we're now going to meet two times a month this year.

If you know even one quilter, start a group. It will grow!! Have fun.
