There are hundreds and hundreds of good longarm quilters. I truly feel blessed and lucky to be in this wonderful business.

Quilting for Kaffe and Liza is no more stressful than for any other quiltmaker. I feel the same about every quilt I finish for someone--it's like a sacred trust to have someone give me their precious work. It's a collaborative process that I enjoy.

The only added stress is that I know they are coming but once I get one of Kaffe's quilts, it needs to be out of here really quickly. So I ask for photos before Liza brings me the quilt, so I can make some design decisions ahead of time, mull it over and decide what to do, run my ideas for quilting designs past them before I even have the finished quilt here. It is all about planning.
