I think this is a very kind, thoughtful & generous thing to do. And they will be so meaningful! I love the idea. You have done well dear one & I know you will certainly be appreciated for making them. Do not take this to the bank because I am often wrong, but I think I remember the saying along this line: If you pass by on a galloping horse & cannot see any mistakes, then it is a job well done on the making the quilt.
