I have to agree. If there's a lot that is wet, maybe going to a laundromat might be easier than home washing. Until it's the leak is fixed, I'd think about putting the dry fabric in plastic tubs. It would be a lot of work, but might save some washing (I don't prewash fabric either).

BTW, you have a lovely sewing studio - less the water, of course.
