I belong to a quilt guild and it has been our tradition to gift the out going president with a quilt made by guild members. This year's president has graciously asked that, instead of being gifted with a quilt for herself, would each guild member subit a small art quilt to the Ami Simms Quilt Initiative. This is a nationwide project that is raising funds for Alzheimers Deisease. All proceeds from this project is ear marked for research. I thought you might enjoy visiting the website.
