Absolutely NOT TRUE!!! Books can go Media Mail, but it goes by weight. First pound is $2.38, up to 2 pounds is $2.77, and it goes up from there. I can just imagine my PO clerks ROFL if I brought in a 5 pound book and told them they had to ship it for $3.00.
