Oh! how I chuckled (actually laughed out loud) when I read your story. I can just see myself! I used to do many kinds of crafts and sewed garments for years. Am now in the process of getting rid of the craft stuff and building a fabric stash for quilting. As I am writing this, I should be in the bedroom organizing my stash. My space is so limited, but I just can't pass up a beautiful piece of fabric. Stay out of quilt shops? How??? Hubby is not a real happy camper, but he'll live through it.
