I have been shop hopping with quilt friends to a very small No. Calif. town to a shop that everyone seems to think is SO great. Layout is great, natural light is wonderful, fabric selection is fantastic (they don't have flannel tho), but their customer service is severely lacking. Both times I have been there I have been totally ignored - even at the check out counter. My friends who are frequent shoppers there were warmly greeted as were others who came in the door. Geeze, what am I, chopped liver? I saved most of my fabric bucks for another store.
