I, too, gladly share information about my projects and often offer to teach someone how to do her own. Often they want you to spend your time making one for them not spend the time and effort to do it for themselves. It is a little discouraging to share a favorite recipe at a potluck dinner and then have that person bring it to the next potluck meal.
