I hate to say it, and maybe I am selfish (again, only child) but sometimes I wish I could just go away for a while and do only what I want to do.
I don't think it's only child syndrome but something else. I'm from a very large family and feel as you do. I always thought of it as my own world in the midst of the crowd I lived with.
