I have tried all kinds of rulers and am now trying to replace them with Creative Grids. I took a 2-day class from Harriet Hargrave on accurate piecing and she swears by the Creative Grid 2.5 x 12" ruler. I use that one all the time now...IMHO it's the best!!! I stopped using my awkward 24" ruler when Harriet taught us to fold the fabric in half top to bottom so your length of fabric is however long you need it, by only 11-12" instead of 22".
