My 6th grade sewing teacher would tell us that sewing with a machine is a lot like driving a car. There's the gas pedal, you steer with your hands, etc... She even made us take a test to get our "driver's" (sewing) license before we were allowed to make projects on the machines.

So now I'm wondering if my sewing machine were a car, what kind of car would it be? Something fancy and fast? Something big and strong? A muscle car? Something cutting edge or a classic?

Well, my Singer Diana I believe is from 1973. She still runs great without question, but is not fancy at all. It's just dependable and simple. One of those cars that get you from point A to point B.

So, what kind of machine do you drive?
