    My sewing machine, a 1964 Featherweight, is very much like my 1999 Ford Ranger pick up.

    They're both older and have a lot of miles on them. Neither is big or fancy, but they are both very reliable and require little more than oil and electricity (or gas in the case of the Ranger) to keep them humming along.
