So this may be the really wrong advice. As I am still pretty new to this all but I spry basted mine. Sprayed the back of the minky and then put my quilt top down. Worked really well. Was pretty easy to work with then. I loosely quilted it. Then I just used a regular binding. Good Luck! I loved the end results. So soft and snuggly.
