Annie - Absolutely love the colors and fabrics - You did a beautiful job. I might try without sashing first but the one thing about using a sashing is that there is no matching of points" which might be easier. If you go with a sashing I would tend to stay with a solid that coordinated with your fabric or a solid used in the blocks.
