What I did this year was to buy a digital subscription to this one:
http://www.quiltersworld.com/ it's great as I don't feel guilty by throwing half a Brazilian tree forest away, and it's reasonably priced.
I did this too, the biggest advantage is that you can go back through two years of archives. Due to puter problems, I eventually went through and printed out all the ones that interest me. Have had issues with my download files disappearing when my hard drive went bad. I like this mag because they have quite a few for beginners. While I like to think myself an experienced quilter, I'm impatient and I want to get the current project done before I start another, so I want them to go quickly.
